Nature of the service
Medkit is an information-society intermediation service for online appointment booking. Medkit is not a healthcare institution or a healthcare provider within the meaning of the Croatian Healthcare Act (Zakon o zdravstvenoj zaštiti), does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a party to the healthcare contract between the patient and the healthcare provider.

This platform is not intended for emergencies. In an emergency, call 112 or the emergency medical service on 194.
Directory of healthcare providers
The directory on the Platform contains listings of healthcare providers sourced from the public National Register of Healthcare Providers (NRPZZ), maintained by the Croatian Institute of Public Health. A healthcare provider may claim its listing for management or request its removal by e-mail to privacy@medkit.ltd.
Supervisory authorities
- The Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP — Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka), www.azop.hr, is competent for personal data protection.
